My Take On The Four Reasons To Sell Your Tooele Home.
Item #1. Buyer Demand:
The average days on market in Tooele County in June was 19. That compares very favorably with the median days of 26 that KCM listed on their post. With offers to purchase on good inventory often in double digits we can expect activity to continue to be very aggressive.
Item #2. Competition:
With home owners staying longer in one location, a lack of new construction inventory, and the fact that the Salt Lake market has found the lower prices and minimal commute time in the county an incentive to look out here to establish a household.
Item #3 Timing:
While we see housing prices moving up rapidly, the more interesting part of the equation is the increase in mortgage interest rates. Rates effect the cost per month, and dictate what price buyers can qualify for. As interest rates go up, the pool of qualified buyers goes down. The more lookers, the higher the sales price. The time is now!
Item #4 Time To Move On:
No matter what phase you are in, buying your first home, moving up to the 'dream home', or cutting back to minimize outgo and maintenance, this could be the time. Your time.
