Last week was a good week for those of us interested in getting real estate information about Tooele County out to our peeps. Keeping Current Matters, my source for a lot of the tips and advise I share with you, was all over the board regarding topics.
They went from outlining how much the projected rising price of homes could have, to exposing some of the myths surrounding investing and owning real estate.
KCM writes about how they see real estate from a national perspective. Some topics are the same no matter where you live. Other suggestions, tips or advise is area specific. My job is to break down the locality sensitive info to reflect how it all translates to our local market and circumstances.
A good example of that would be in the first piece about home equity. Tooele County has enjoyed a greater than average increase in value compared to other ares in the region and the country. If that trend holds, and I think it will then we will be looking at a gain in equity of over 20%.
The good news here is.... If you have an FHA loan or any mortgage that required private mortgage insurance you will have built up enough equity to eliminate this monthly expense.
