Real Estate agents are overpaid who needs them? Why do I need someone to help me buy a house in Tooele UT? I've lived here all my life, and I know the seller.

Believe it or not, this is the feeling of many home buyers as they contemplate buying or selling a home.

Most people I meet during the course of a business week don’t know that it’s the seller who pays all the real estate fees at closing. This includes not only their real estate broker’s commissions, but the buyers’ agent’s as well.

It is important to have professional representation when you purchase a home. Even if you think you can do it alone you must remember that there are major steps to the purchase process, and many people involved in the transaction, time restrictions, legal requirements and more to consider. Examples are:

  1. Loan Officer
  2. Mortgage Lender
  3. Appraiser
  4. Property Inspector
  5. Warranty Rep
  6. Title Officer

Not many things in life are free, but a buyers agent can be. You can hire someone to represent you in one of the largest financial transactions you’ll ever make at no cost to you. Now THAT'S A PRETTY GOOD DEAL.
